Len Bolger

Len Bolger was President of Shell Canada Chemical Company from 1980 to 1986. During that time he was involved in continuous manufacturing processes and international marketing of its products. After retirement, Len became a Vice President of the CIAR and assisted the Institute successfully in fund raising activities in Western Canada. He was also a member of the Institute's Research Council and was a member of the Economic Growth Advisory Committee. Len has a keen interest in research and developing new institutional concepts to help Canadian companies increase their competitiveness through ideas and innovation. Len is Chairman and President of Advatech Homes Canada, a company he started in Alberta that manufactures houses for export initially in Japan and has now moved into China. Len is Chairman of Back Door, a program for street kids which is a Founders' Network activity. Len is currently a member of the CIAR Board of Directors.
