. | Dr. Martin Wilk has an extraordinary record of distinguish service to the government, to the private sector and to academia on both sides of the Canadian-US boarder dating back to 1945. Wilk was with the Canadian Atomic Energy Project as a Chemical Engineer from 1945-50. He has served as Chief of Statistics Canada and held appointments at Princeton University, Rutgers University and Carleton University. Wilk has more than 60 publications to his credit. Dr. Wilk has received so many awards that it is not possible to name them all. Included in this long list are Officer of the Order of Canada, Distinguish Alumni Award at Iowa State University, and the Brande Memorial Award. He is a Fellow of the National and International Statistics and Scientific Societies. He has served on various task forces and advisory committees including the National Task Force on Health Information.
