The Founders' Network links a diverse group of individuals from across Canada and in other countries who helped build a virtual research institute that brought together talented individuals from different disciplines to tackle some of the complex problems faced by communities today. We are an international collection of people interested in promoting science and technology, economic issues, determinants of health and human development, and early childhood.

We break down barriers between specialists and disciplines, and between thinking and the real world . The result is innovative thinking from pooled knowledge that proposes practical solutions for our societies in the here and now.

The network helps transfer the new understanding from the work of these individuals to society.

South Australia Thinkers' Report on Early Child Development

There are two reports:  [1] The short report for the Premier and Cabinet; [2] the long report for the Ministry of Education and Children's Services [DECS].  Dr. Mustard was asked to be the Adelaide Thinker in Residence working through Premier Rann's office.  The theme that he was to work with was closing the gap between what we know and what we do in respect to Early Human Development.  The government of South Australia has set out Early Child Development Centres as part of the primary schools.
